Good news! I woke up on the other side of the bed this morning. I may sound schizo going from the last post to this one, but it's all part of the 'adjustment process' or so I am told.

It's Friday which means two things: 1. I get the other Donaldson back shortly. Yippee! And 2. We have our first apartment viewings scheduled for this afternoon.  There are few things in close contention with ice cream and puppies and the Mr. on my favorites list, and house hunting is one of them. Even after we bought our house in Westport, I continued up until the day before we left to check the listings and see what was going on out there in house shopping land.  Fixtures, flooring, drawer pulls, door knobs, archways, and ceramic sinks... I love it all. Granted, these 'houses' will be a bit different. From our last trip, I know that the places tend to be more stark (that is an understatement) and it's more about finding the ideal layout than the ideal details. But that's not raining on my parade.

On a side note... thoughts on Ascot as our mascot? Warning: I'll turn off the 'comments' if you start saying it's not the best idea you've heard today.  :)

PS. Thanks for your nice words of encouragement yesterday.
